| Description: | Can you draw the internet? |
| Location: | London |
| Date: | 12 November 2010 |
For Internet Week Europe, WPP digital agency Saint@RKCR is conducting an experiment where they're pitting the wild and vivid imaginations of a group of 10 year old kids against the experience and wisdom of the creative industry.
The objective? To find out who's more imaginative.
The challenge? Can you draw the internet?
As children today are growing up in a world of technology and communications, Saint thought it would be interesting to find out what their perception of the internet actually is. Likewise they thought it would be interesting to see how the creative industry interprets it too - and compare the two.
So, we've got some of the world's best illustrators, like Anthony Burrill, Peskimo and Andy Rementer all interpreting the challenge, along with lots of top creative folk from numerous different agencies. Then on the November 12, Saint is holding a workshop where they will work with a group of 10 year olds to draw their interpretations. After that, everything will be uploaded to the website where people will vote on the best entries.
The whole event is being promoted by D&AD and covered by Creative Review and NMA, so if you'd like to get involved and enter your drawing of the internet please visit http://www.canyoudrawtheinternet.com/
We only need a scribble, a moment of creative genius!
